Khagendra Thapa Magar, from Nepal, who is only 56 centimetres (22 inches) tall and weights 4.5 kilograms (10 pounds) has turned 18 years old and now hopes to be officially recognized for his record size.
Khagendra’s family members believe he was destined for greatness. “It was like watching a newly hatched chick fresh from a shell,” said mother Dhana Maya Thapa Magar. “I admit that at first I was ashamed of him and would not leave the house, but now I only feel pride and am desperate for him to be named as the tiniest man in the world,” she added
